Pierre Jeanneret, Pigeon Hole Desk
A faithful vintage re-edition of the PJ-BU-02-A blueprint designed by Pierre Jeanneret in 1950-1959. Handcrafted in India.
Pierre Jeanneret contributed some of his most acclaimed furniture designs for the administrative structures within the city. One exemplary design is the PJ-BU-02-A desk. Featuring a six-part pigeonhole bookcase on the reverse for storage, it also includes a single deep drawer and cubbyhole at the front. One side of the desk boasts a desk-wide slab leg, while the other exhibits a tapered leg and a smaller slab leg. Much like the city it was created for, this desk represents a modest masterpiece where form seamlessly aligns with function, showcasing a deliberate focus on formal balance and geometric harmony.
