How an order works
- Orders
This website is a catalogue, not a shop: no order can be placed through it. A sale begins with an enquiry and is concluded in writing, with the piece, finish, price, lead time and delivery terms confirmed by us before anything is made.
- Prices
Prices are shown in euro and include worldwide shipping. Any other currency shown is an indicative conversion at the European Central Bank's published rate; the contract and the invoice are in euro.
Import duty and local taxes are not included and depend on the destination. We will tell you what to expect before you commit.
- Made to order
Every piece is made after the order is placed, in the wood finish you specify. Lead times are typically ten to fourteen weeks and are confirmed in writing before production begins.
- Right of withdrawal
A consumer buying at a distance in the EU normally has fourteen days to withdraw without giving a reason. That right does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised, under Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU.
Because each piece is cut after you order it, in a finish you choose, the furniture in this catalogue falls under that exception and the fourteen-day right of withdrawal does not apply. We say so here rather than leaving it to be discovered.
This does not affect your legal rights if goods arrive damaged, faulty or not as described.
- Conformity
Goods must correspond to the description agreed. If a piece arrives damaged or not as agreed, tell us within fourteen days of delivery with photographs and we will repair, replace or refund. Your statutory rights to conformity under EU law are unaffected by anything on this page.
- Authenticity
Everything in this catalogue is a re-edition, not an original. Pieces are newly made from the original blueprints and are never presented, aged or sold as period originals.
- Governing law
Luxembourg law applies. Where you contract as a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your own country of residence.
