The narrow Pierre Jeanneret Writing Chair model PJ-SI-28B was predominantly seen at university housing at the Panjab University and in administrative buildings all over Chandigarh during 1955-56. Similar models are currently on display at the Le Corbusier Center and The City Museum in Chandigarh. This version is sleeker than its counterparts making it a nifty fit for smaller spaces. The solid teakwood frame has a backrest and seat with braided caning. The armrests sit on top of ‘V’ shaped legs that are connected at the bottom by two crosspieces. Similarly, the slightly tilted and curved backrest is connected to the seat by two supports below
