Pierre Jeanneret designed the armless upholstered easy chair specifically for the Chandigarh High Court, Panjab University, and student housing. Identified as PJ-SI-36A in the catalog, this low chair was crafted for relaxation and commonly found in informal spaces within buildings and homes. Its distinctive features include a slightly tilted backrest and seat, both upholstered in various materials. The low 'V' shaped legs are flat-profiled and joined by two rails from below, making it an essential piece from the Chandigarh Chairs collection.
