The "Senate Chair" presents a variation of Pierre Jeanneret's PJ-SI-30A design, originally observed at the Chandigarh High Court, Panjab University, and other administrative structures circa 1953-54. Constructed with a robust teakwood frame, the chair features a slightly slanted backrest, seat, and armrests, all elegantly upholstered. Its base is formed by 'V' shaped, tilted, and flat-profiled legs, serving as support for armrests adorned with roll-type stuffed covers that extend along the entire length, in contrast to the "Committee Chair," which exposes only a portion of the armrests. The seat is reinforced by two rails beneath, both in the front and back. Optionally, the chair may also be upholstered with moleskin.
